Frame your piece with confidence
Bring your artwork, photographs or keepsakes - I’ll guide you to the right frame and create something you’ll love.
-
Frame your favourite print by a renowned artist or protect that rare print so it lasts a lifetime.
I mount digital prints and reproductions using archival, acid-free materials to preserve their quality and longevity. These works are typically framed under UV-protective glass to shield them from light damage, often with a mat to enhance presentation and to keep the print from touching the glass.
-
Watercolour works are hinged to an acid-free support and glazed with UV-protective glass, with either an acid free mat, or spacers inserted to prevent direct contact between the artwork and the glazing.
Oil paintings are mounted glass-free, often in a floating or tray frame that lets them breathe and shows off their depth.
-
Again conservation techniques are used to make sure your precious photographs and certificates last a life time. These include archival materials, UV glass with option reflection control, and quality wooden frames.
-
To frame 3D objects I use a shadow box with custom spacers, archival adhesives, or invisible stitches to securely suspend and protect items away from the glass without damaging them.
-
Almost any textile can be framed, from antique tapestries and needlework to modern fabric art. The key is using the right techniques to preserve the textile’s integrity and appearance.
Textiles are particularly susceptible to damage from light, humidity, and handling. Conservation framing safeguards these pieces by using acid-free materials, UV glass and proper mounting techniques.

Where needed, this may include:
UV-protective and non-reflective glass
Archival and conservation materials
Spacing and mounting techniques
I also take a considered approach to materials and waste, aiming to minimise impact wherever possible.
